The Amity Fire District is located in the Northwestern Willamette Valley Region of Oregon. We proudly protect a mostly rural population of approximately 2500 residents, scattered over an area of 85 square miles. Our District includes the city of Amity which is currently populated by about 1300 residents.
The Fire District is currently comprised of 30 personnel, of which 29 are volunteers. We operate out of 2 fire stations. Our main station is located in Amity and a satellite station is located in Perrydale, about 10 miles to the southwest. The District enjoys an ISO rating of 5.
The Amity Fire District's history dates back to 1895.
