Are you interested in becoming a companion to one of our wonderful patients? YOU WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING CLINICAL! 

APEX Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for kind hearts that are interested in making a real difference in the life of terminally ill adults. If you enjoy reading, being a good listener, sharing memories, making people smile or other talents you may have, PLEASE let us know. Many of our patients are diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Cancer, Heart Conditions, etc. Some may have families, while others are alone but either way, the support and presence of a Volunteer make these tough times a bit easier. To comfort, converse and spend time with our patients is unforgettable and an experience of a lifetime!

Volunteers play an essential role in the lives of our patients and families. They are a very important part of the hospice team!

We have many lovely patients at Island City Rehab (Wilmington) who would love some company!  :)
