Apple Street Farm is a small-scale sustainable vegetable and livestock farm in historic Essex, Mass. We pasture-raise heritage breeds of poultry (for eggs and meat), and cultivate 5 acres of mixed vegetables for our farmstand, on-farm CSA, and partner restaurant in Boston (L'Espalier).
We use sustainable methods in all of practices: no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, and we promote fertility and health in our soil through compost and manure, and proper rotation and cover cropping. All of our methods are transparent and we're happy to share what we do.
