About Us:

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is a full-service, medical facility located in the heart of San Luis Obispo County. Established in 1961 and open to the public on April 15, 1962, Arroyo Grande is a licensed 65 bed hospital offering health care services to central coast residents.

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Has Been Caring For Central Coast Residents For More Than 50 Years

In June of 2004, Arroyo Grande was acquired by Dignity Health, a faith based, not-for-profit hospital. Dignity Health, headquartered in San Francisco, is a system of hospitals and medical centers in California, Arizona and Nevada. Founded in 1986, it is one of the nation's largest not-for-profit health care systems and the largest Catholic health care system based in the Western United States.

In 2007, we opened a satellite facility, the Coastal Cancer Care and Diagnostics Center in Pismo Beach.

In October of 2014, we celebrated five years as a Dignity Health hospital and we continue to expand our services to meet the growing needs of the community.
