The Lions Club of Artesia /Cerritos, California was chartered on December 17 1946, by the sponsorship of the Norwalk Lions Club and under the Jurisdiction of the International Association of Lions Clubs.

The Lions Club organization is the world's largest and most active service organization dedicated to the community service.

We serve nearly 1.4 million Lions Members in 200 countries and geographic area who answer the needs that challenge the communities of the world. Lions tackle tough problems like blindness, drug abuse prevention and diabetes awareness.

Global Neighbors Lions members men and women provide immediate and sustained relife in time of disaster and offer long term assistance to those in need. Lions collect and recycle eyeglasses for treat millions of people to prevent river blindness.

Since 1917, whenever there is a need at home or around the world, Lion members are there to help.
