Communication skills are a key to enjoying Life. Toastmasters helps people improve their communication skills through a proven training program. You'll get expert coaching through the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Manual. You'll learn by doing - practicing - in a supportive environment. You'll move through the various programs at a pace of your choosing. You'll be an active participant in all meetings that you attend (if you so choose); there are various types of meeting roles where you can practice different types of skills. For example, you can organize and run a meeting, give a prepared speech, evaluate another member's presentation, or speak "off the cuff". There are minor roles and major roles.

Perhaps you simply want to be comfortable speaking up at meetings. Toastmasters can help. Perhaps you have a new position which requires giving presentations. Toastmasters can help. Do you believe that listening skills are important? Again, Toastmasters can help. As well as giving your own presentations, you'll practice giving evaluations; evaluations that hone the speaker's skills and motivate the speaker to continual improvement.

Any Club is only as good as its members. Come join the Articulators, one of the few clubs in the area that meets on a weekly basis, and enjoy the benefits of Public Speaking! The financial cost is negligible. Guests are always welcome at our meetings; become a member only when you are comfortable doing so! All skill levels are welcome!
