Mission:

The mission of the Artists Guild of Statesville (AGS) is to foster and promote the creation of local artwork and to share that artwork with the public through the cooperation of other local cultural groups.

Art education is an organizational goal. Our regular monthly meetings and programs, which often include art classes and workshops provided by regional artists, are developed to encourage and support local artists while educating the public.

During the year, several shows are organized and AGS members work closely with the Artist Gallery to display the work of local talent at the Signal Hill Mall. Many AGS members also participate in fundraising efforts throughout the community by donating special works.
