The mission of Arts-Kids is to use the expressive arts and group techniques to empower all youth to build self-expression and community.

About Us:

Arts-Kids is a nonprofit that provides after-school programming to students in Salt Lake, Summit, Wasatch, and Uintah Counties. Our primary prevention program is aimed at reducing substance abuse, suicide, depression, gang involvement and other child/teen tragedies by promoting healthy behaviors. 

Arts-Kids, Inc. works with school guidance counselors to identify children and teens who are going through life challenges such as divorce or death in the family, learning disabilities, ADD or ADHD, or who are at-risk for negative behavior. 

Because child and adolescent social issues are sometimes hidden from guidance counselors, the program is open to any child who wishes to participate. Costs are entirely underwritten by grants and donations, making participation possible for every child, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
