Mission Statement:
“Act and Serve in God's Word!”
Ascension Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a community of all ages that believe Jesus Christ is God's only Son and our Savior. The focus of our faith is that our salvation is a gift of God's grace and love in Jesus. We celebrate this gift through hearing the Word and participating in the Lord's Supper and Holy Baptism.
We are a warm and friendly congregation. Many of our people have moved to the Grand Rapids area from other locations, and feel at home worshiping at Ascension. A fellowship time is held each week after the service where we enjoy one anothers company.
