We are a small non-profit, run completely by volunteers. We own and run the Bargain Box Thrift Store using our volunteers. Our store proceeds support our philanthropic programs. Operation School Bell is our signature program. It is designed to support needy children within Pueblo County,  with new school clothes, age appropriate books and health hygiene kits. Students are recommended to us by their school counselors and if meet the program criteria receive vouchers for clothes, books and kits each year in September. We clothed close to 1,000 students this year. We also provide scholarships to students at Pueblo Community College and CSU-Pueblo and stuffed bears to children in traumatic situations. Our membership is made up of primarily retired educators but we welcome those who would like to be part of our group. We work hard, we laugh a lot, we support one another through cheers and laughter.
