USA Archery's Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) classes for kids 8-18, and separate Adult Training Program meetups are held by Austin JOAD Archers on the weekends. Register for your first-time class on our website: www.aajoad.com Our goal is to create an inspiring training and practicing environment for Junior Olympic and FITA target archers. Since 1995, we have coached over 1,500 kids, including lots of Texas state and southern region champions, several national champions and one wonderful Paralympic bronze medallist! There are four levels: Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced and Olympic Path. All equipment is provided at the beginner/intermediate levels. Head Coach, Alex Meyer, is a Jr. Dream Team Coach at the Olympic Training Center. All our instructors are USA Archery-certified. We are also an AISD Off-Campus PE agency for kids in Grades 7 through 12.
