Bancroft Middle School provides sixth, seventh and eighth graders with a strong district-adopted curriculum in all subject areas.  State standards and district adopted texts are used in all core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, science, history, physical education, health, Spanish and visual and performing arts.

Students at Bancroft Middle School enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities and enrichment curriculum.  We participate in the Southern Alameda County league and compete with area middle schools in football, cross country, basketball, wrestling, soccer, volleyball, softball and track.  Enrichment curriculum includes, orchestra, band, jazz band, drama production, art, computers, Leadership, and Spanish, and Spanish for Native Speakers
