Banner Elk School has a mission to guarantee a quality education program for all students in a challenging, secure environment. We, as professional, caring educators, will provide a relevant, integrated curriculum. We believe developing integrated instructional units including the Arts will maximize each child's learning potential. At Banner Elk we believe a safe, secure environment is essential to learning. We believe all students can become responsible citizens and life long learners. Our students will become critical thinkers who are responsible, knowledgeable and who can succeed as life-long learners in a richly diverse society.
