The City of Bay Village Recreation Department is proud to bring you a great variety of recreation programs. We continue to expand and revise our program offerings in response to resident interests. All citizens can take advantage of the diverse number of activities offered by the Recreation department to learn new skills and meet new friends. No matter what your age, we have something that is sure to entice you to participate.

The Recreation Department coordinates all city-sponsored recreational activities, programs and facilities within Bay Village. It also works closely with sports related clubs such as the Bay Soccer Club, Bay Men's Club Baseball and the Girls Softball Club to coordinate facility use and program schedules.

The department consists of two full-time staff members. The Parks and Recreation Commission serves as an advisory board to the Director. It is comprised of a total of eight members - six citizens, one School Board representative and one City Council representative. Both the Recreation Director and Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council.
