Mission:

To promote and enhance the cultural life of all of the people of Florida’s First Coast by presenting an annual series of outstanding musical, theatrical and dance performances and exhibits of visual art, by supporting educational outreach activities that encourage participation in, and appreciation of, the fine arts and by nurturing emerging artists.

About Us:

Since 1972, Beaches Fine Arts Series has offered people of North Florida the chance to enjoy world-class music and dance in an annual season of performances, all for free. Programming encompasses an eclectic blend of styles from classical to contemporary, jazz to world music and dance, and traditional to avant-garde. BFAS is the only series in North Florida to be recorded for broadcast on American Public Media’s “Performance Today” on National Public Radio series. We also present art exhibits at our concerts and receptions featuring the work of exceptional visual artists from all over the region.
