The Socratic Seminar exists to provide a venue in which ordinary Americans can gather to read, examine and discuss the primary texts that have shaped Western Civilization.  In Summer 2010, opportunity is extended to the community to participate in group studies around chronological readings down through the centuries   focusing on perspectives of Law and Government.
