The Belvidere Neighborhood Association (BNA) was founded three years ago and has approximately 200 paid members. Its purpose is to 

keep residents informed of actions affecting the area;
influence the outcome of these activities in a positive, non-confrontational way; and
increase awareness of and appreciation for Belvidere's environmental resources.
