Big River Farms is a program of Minnesota Food Association (501c3 non-profit orgnization) based at Wilder Forest in the St.Croix River Valley. At Big River Farms, we train immigrants and other aspiring farmers in Organic growing methods/certification and assist them in developing their own local markets.

As a part of the training program, we operate a CSA and pool together produce grown by Big River Farms and participants in our training program. We strive to provide the farmers in our training program with a valuable learning experience while providing our community of committed CSA members high quality, local, Organic produce!

Big River Farms is a program of Minnesota Food Association, a non-profit organization working to train immigrant and aspiring farmers. The Big River Farms CSA pools together produce grown by the farmers-in-training (on land we lease at Wilder Forest near Stillwater) to offer our members fresh, local and certified organic veggies.

We have Standard Summer Boxes (3/4 bushel box, 18 weeks, June-October), Late Season Boxes, and Donor Shares (they support the mission of MFA) available for the 2009 season. We also work with a group of local chicken farmers to offer our members fresh chicken.
