As persons growing in Christian Discipleship, we encourage all people to grow in their relationship with God and one another so that all may experience the fullness of Christian life.

Bishop Janes UMC will continue to grow spiritually and physically. We will intentionally reach out to others while we improve our service to our own membership. We will adopt unifying themes to integrate all aspects of church life. We will create an environment that inspires us to deepen our relationship with God and each other through participation in:

Worship: We believe that worship is a joyful, celebration of our own personal and community relationship in Jesus Christ.

Fellowship:We believe that fellowship is fundamental to the experience of God and each other. Fellowship enriches the life of the church, as we grow to know each other, exchange ideas, meet the everyday needs of our people and achieve a sense of belonging.

Education: We believe that Christian Education creates a spiritual foundation on which a balanced life and deeper relationship with Christ can be obtained and provides a context for understanding as relating contemporary issues.

Service: We believe that service, as set forth in the example of Jesus Christ, is essential to living our faith.

Outreach: We believe that outreach is a necessary expression of our Christian faith.
