Situated just minutes from downtown Boise, Idaho, Black Dog Clays awaits shooters on South Cole Road, 5 miles south of I-84. Our NSCA affiliated club is open to the public Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The challenging 12-station course is situated on a flat plateau with distant views of the Boise Front. The course has many interesting target presentations with challenging downhill shots, targets launched from a 35 foot tower and an elevated stand that accents the natural desert terrain.
All shooting stations on the sporting course are operated by an electronic system that launches targets as well as keeps track of targets thrown. A unique feature allows programming a delay in the launch, providing the opportunity for solo shooters to shoot and practice by themselves. A 5-stand features a variety of target presentations in a compact setting and a Skeet range is available as well.
Black Dog Clays offers corporate outings and large group shooting on days of the week when closed to public shooting.
Spring, Summer and Fall Leagues are forming now and provide for a great way to shoot with your friends, mixing a little friendly competition with some welcomed relaxing social time.
Looking for a National Sporting Clays Association affiliated competition? We have you covered with monthly registered events starting in January and ending in September. Just in time for Regional and National tournaments.
