Short but beautiful Blue Hole Falls is a popular summer destination due to the large swimming hole at the base of the falls.  Located off the remote and unpaved Rich Mountain Road, the trailhead isn't too difficult to reach.  The moderate hike is well blazed and easy to follow but does have a creek crossing above Blue Hole Falls which may be problematic during periods of high water flow.  The trail also passes the picturesque Cedar Creek Falls.
