Bob has spent nearly half a century of making art...art degrees from Clemson and USC...more than 30 years teaching students all ages metal sculpture,clay,recycled art through artist residencies...in the '70's, began buying and transforming a row of downtown pool halls & cafes into artist studios, galleries, & sculpture garden...my work is located worldwide in private & public collections, corporate settings, governmental agencies, parks & tourist destinations, schools & universities, museums & galleries...my wife and I operate a gallery which exhibits works by all genre artists & founded a non-profit art center for the purposes of providing arts opportunities where they may otherwise not be possible...we also have a passle of dogs & cats! Bob & Cherry have been recognized with awards that include SC's highest honor for Individual Artist, Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, SC Hero of the Child, York County Cultural Commission Keepers of the Culture, Marian Hagins Competition, 107.9 The Link Leading Ladies, SC Hospitality Employee of the Year, Olde English District Hospitality Employee of the Year, and others for which we are eternally grateful.
