In our summerer CSA, the most unique item are maple syrup, microgreens and shiitake mushrooms. The tomatos and cucumber are also available early, grown in the greenhouse untill it is warmer. Early on there are baby greens, lettuce, dandelion, arugula and whatever else is coming in. Microgreens range from pea shoots to diakon radish shoots, to mesculin mix. In June the selection of vegetable expands. There may be peas, beans, escarole, fennel, summer squash, mustard greens, collards or other things in the basket. In July the garlic will be getting ready for harvest along with peppers and eggplant. Some fruit will be in, there are apple and pear trees planted as well as a crop of melon is planned. Later season winter squash and carrots and such will be available. The season is for 20 weeks, (it runs for 24 with a four week hold for vacation or late start date). There will be a drop in the Edgewood Park market area on Sunday, and another at 1010 State Street on Saturday.

There is a pick up at the farm on Wednesday. The price for the season is $500 and is due asap, but a deposit is due no later than April 1st. Bodhichitta is the name we gave our farm because of it's special meaning of cultivating an open heart. This practice of having an open heart is an ongoing process, just as cultivating on a farm is.

Our goals involve living life through our work and being here for the community as a source of healthy, good tasting, quality food. We would like to help people enjoy more vegetables and learn more about the health that they help keep good.

Our farm is growing. And it is a living experience we cherish. Our main crops are Maple Syrup, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Salad Vegetables. We follow organic growing methods. In addition, Whitney is growing for a winter CSA.
