Boys2men-Girls2women is a community non-profit organization that is committed to serving the community by assisting children between the ages of 5-18 years of age in becoming productive members of society by instilling positive, spiritual, cultural, educational, vocational, and social values also, we are doing something about Fresno’s alarming school dropout rate which includes the teen pregnancy rate.

Our mission is to make a positive difference in a child’s life by offering encouragement and support. We have mentors and tutors who are skilled and gracefully willing to give time and effort to assist a child in improving in their future in life and making the grade, we make sure this is done with efficiency and confidence. We wish this to be a rewarding experience and hope that each child gains a wonderful understanding of what it is like to have a positive role model for the future generation. 

We do this by working closely together to improve the child through counseling, tutoring, mentoring and by developing relationships with the child’s teacher, school and custodial parent or guardian. Each child turns in a weekly progress report and receives a mandatory on-site school visit from one of our staff. What an impact this alone has made on the children’s educational progress, inter belief, and self-worth. 

Our foundation is helping to take responsibility for the future of these children. Right now, there are hundreds of children of all ages in our city and community with no place to turn, but crime then jail. Some children can’t be blamed: they are victims of their environment, of society, separated by absent parents, drug and alcohol abusing parents, etc…

As you might know Fresno County alone sends more teens to juvenile facilities than any other county in California and is also in the top ten categories for teen pregnancy, school dropouts, drugs, and gangs and the statistics are skyrocketing. We strive to change these discouraging statistics by intervening in children’s lives before they become victims to their surroundings, to society, abusive situations and just another number.

We aim to take responsibility for these children and provide a healthy drug and violence-free atmosphere for them. We offer tutoring, after school programs, Summer Camp and special events with a simulated family atmosphere. 

We strive to keep children from as we say "Falling through the Cracks" FTC for short, if you can save just one child you can save a generation.
