The Sexual Assault Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit whose aim is to end the cycle of violence through empowerment, education, and advocacy. SARC's mission is to provide comprehensive services for, and resources about sexual violence primarily through 24-hour services and prevention education. We seek to assure that the physical and emotional needs of anyone affected by sexual violence are met, and that everyone is treated with dignity and respect and is given accurate legal and medical information.
The success of the center is largely dependent on its volunteers. Advocates of the center help staff the 24 hour hotline, accompany survivors at medical facilities or legal proceedings, and serve as a liaison to the greater community at events and fairs.
Volunteer applications are available through the center's website.
