Mission Statement

-We, the Briarchase Missionary Baptist Church of Missouri City, Texas, are: a growing fellowship of believers, united and empowered by the Holy Spirit, committed to glorifying God by:

-LEADING people to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior.

-ENCOURAGING, EQUIPPING AND EMPOWERING people for a dedicated life and ministry through proclaiming, teaching and studying God's word.

-PROMOTING Christian love and fellowship, and

-DEMONSTRATING a Christ like presence in the community and world in order to magnify God.

Vision Statement

Briarchase's vision is that it is to be the Church empowered to make a difference and geared to the needs, lifestyles and interests of persons who seek and share a Christian commitment to offer holistic ministry which address spiritual, human, urban and community needs in Houston and the surrounding communities.

These ministries are to be sensitively offered and characterized by a loving, warm, forgiving and excepting environment. In order to accommodate these and other ministries, Briarchase is planning a multi-facet community life that will help families, liberate the oppressed, restore sight to the blind, set the captives free and to this end, reclaim our community.
