About the Festival
Originally established in 1967 as the “Colonel Crawford Days,” the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival is entering our 58th year. The Bratwurst Festival is held on the third weekend in August. We are the only festival in Ohio that holds a parade each night. With an annual attendance of over 100,000 visitors, we hold the title of “Ohio’s Eatingest Festival.” Our theme for this year is “Brattie Supports Our Educators. The Heart of Our Community!”
