Mission Statement:
The Calcasieu Community Clinic, a not-for-profit corporation, improves the well-being of low-income, working uninsured persons and their families by providing free health care and medications to residents of Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jefferson Davis parishes.
With improved health, these individuals are more productive in the work force and in the community. Volunteer physicians, nurses, pharmacists and non-medical personnel staff the Thursday evening clinic. Specialists, lab services, oral health care providers and vision providers are available by referral only.
Vision Statement:
The marvels of modern medicine are beyond the reach of those that cannot pay. Illness in the life of a loved one with no home for improved health permeates through the family unit.
It is a well-known fact that a person heals better with hope than despair. At Calcasieu Community Clinic, we offer hope, healing and wholeness to those too often forgotten.
Goals:
To lesson barriers-to-care for low-income working persons and their families through the provision of an accessible clinic facility that renders health care treatment, provides pharmaceutical intervention, offers peripheral services and supplies patient education and counseling.
