Prayerful. We believe that prayer is the foundation of everything that we are and do as a church and must be our number one priority as God's people.

Worshipful. We believe that worship, both collectively and individually, is a chief way to express our love for God.

Relational. We believe that all believers need to be a part of community, experiencing the love, support, encouragement, and accountability that comes through intentional relationships with other believers.

Missional. We believe that we have been commissioned by Jesus Christ Himself to share Good News with the lost -- locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.

Disciplemaking. We believe our primary task as a church is to make disciples, anywhere and everywhere, who are characterized by a growing obedience to Christ as Lord and holy living.

Serving. We believe in loving others through serving our church body and our community.

Unified. We believe that unity and cooperation among believers within Calvary and across the city is God's plan for demonstrating His glory to Elko and the surrounding areas.

We are a group of all ages – believing that the best path we can take on this journey called life is found by focusing our lives on the teachings of Jesus Christ and following in His steps and ways.

We celebrate who God is and what He is doing in our lives and in our community each time we gather to worship and the message of hope and love that is found in God’s Word is the focus of each service.
