Mission:

This program focuses on youth development and providing young people with a positive experience in shooting sports. It is designed to instill in the participants a set of personal values or character traits that teaches fair play, compassionate understanding, individual responsibility, sportsmanship, self-discipline and personal commitment - qualities that will serve them well throughout their lives and will be instrumental in helping each participant reach his/her full potential. It is the duty of everyone involved in the Longspurs, coaches, parents and participants to set good examples for team members to emulate by upholding high moral and ethical standards of personal conduct. As our motto goes... "No child left inside", the more children we get outdoors and become active, the more success we will have.
