Carroll County Recreation is located in Carrollton, Georgia. The Athletic Complex is 80 acres and has three baseball fields, three softball fields, two soccer/football fields, a BMX track, and walking trails. Carroll County Recreation is home to over 150 youth and adult teams in all sports. The County Department is responsible for creating County-wide scheduling and rules for all sports. Under the supervision of Carroll County Recreation is the 527 acre McIntosh Reserve Park on the Chattahoochee River. The park contains camping, hiking, horse back riding trails, pavilions and a water park. The Department also holds a 175 acre greenspace property adjacent to the main complex. Carroll County Recreation is dedicated to maintaining a safe and fun environment for the enjoyment of all citizens who wish to participate in athletic and recreation activities.
