The Carver League  was established in 1947 and its principal office Is located at 1007 S. Elm in Pittsburg, Kansas.  The purpose of the Carver League is to : Utilize the Craft of the members to provide hope to the youth by mentoring in music and education. Provide support to those grieving by the facilitation  of emotional , spiritual and psychological healing process with support groups, counseling and referral to appropriate mental health organizations.  Promote wellness by being an option for assistance with  taxes , blood pressure checks and screenings  for the aged. Provide public information  on historical significance  George Washington Carver  while promoting unity of diverse groups through community awareness, cultural programming and education.
