Mission: To create a healing society
The Catalyst Foundation began with the simple idea of using the issue of AIDS to transform both individual lives and society as a whole. Since our founding in 1992, we’ve grown dramatically. Today, we are dedicated to decreasing the impact of unhealed emotional pain and trauma (from childhood abuse, neglect, and other difficult life situations) on society and the world through public education, advocacy, policy reform, direct service, and empowerment of directly affected and disenfranchised groups. In our local community, we are also dedicated to improving the health and well-being of low-income, medically indigent, homeless, and post-incarcerated persons through high-quality, compassionate medical care, health education, and supportive social services.
