About us:
Cedar Point Community Church is an independent, non-denominational church, meaning that we are not a part of a denomination, nor are we a church plant or influenced by another denomination. We receive no pressure, funding, or imposition from a force outside of members of our church.
Cedar Point Community Church is also a free church, meaning that we have the freedom to write our own constitution and bylaws, and the church government is setup by the congregation members.
Cedar Point Community Church is an evangelical church, which means we believe in the importance of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and reaching the surrounding community for Jesus. This is done not only by the Pastor, but by every believer who is willing to share the testimony of God’s work in their life.
Here at Cedar Point Community Church we strive to be involved in the affairs of the community surrounding us. We want to show the compassion of Christ through our daily lives to those around us who are in need, and who we can help.
At Cedar Point Community Church, we follow a model of intentional ministry, which means that everything that the church does has a purpose, and we try to avoid doing things that serve no other purpose than tradition.
We believe…
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Our Purpose…
The Purpose of this church shall be as revealed in the New Testament: to be a people of prayer, worship and unity in Jesus Christ; to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and commit them actively to the church; to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ that increasingly they may know and do His will; to work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of building the Kingdom of God in the community and worldwide.
