Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater

About Us:

Samhain (roughly pronounced Sah-win) is the Celtic word for “summers end”. It is celebrated at the end of harvesting time and so is celebrated as a ‘Harvest Festival’.

Colorado is rich in Celtic culture. It is celebrated at festivals all around the state. The Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater is celebrating its fourth year of Colorado Celtic music and traditions. You will experience some of the best our beautiful state has to offer in Celtic music, dancers, merchants and artisans.

We are pleased to welcome back the Renaissance Scots and Living History Association. Travel back in time as you stroll through their village, watch sword fighting, weavers, wool spinners, and leather workers or just sit a while in the village pub – the Knotty Dirk.

This year we will once again have sheep herding demonstrations, Dogs of the British Isle, HawkQuest, and so much more. Check back often as we will be adding more events and activities over the next months.

In keeping with the harvest theme, the Farmer’s Market will be back with a large selection of fresh, Colorado grown vegetables, fruits and other wonderful treats. This year we will again have an expanded Children’s Village. Please check back often for updates.

This will be the third year that we have a Clan village. Many different clans will be available with clan history, traditions and genealogy. Check back for updates as we add them.

Last year’s festival, our third, was a huge success, attended by over 10,000 people. This year will be even better, with more entertainment, more food, and more fun!
