Our purpose is to make much of Jesus at Central Baptist Church through powerful worship services, a solid educational ministry, an effective evangelism thrust, a consistent program of pastoral care and a united fellowship.

Our Mission:

Fulfill The Great Commission

Our mission is to fulfill the great commission found in Matthews 28:18-20 by making Jesus know to our community, the region and the world through a dynamic witness and dedicated lives.

Matthews 28:18-20 "All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe:

In the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. We believe the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation and God’s plan and purpose in the ages.

In God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

In the Deity and Virgin birth of Jesus Christ.

That salvation is “by grace” plus nothing and minus nothing.

Men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God, only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In the visible, personal and pre-millennial return or Jesus Christ.

In the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.

Our vision is to touch the world through living the Christ-Centered L.I.F.E. by:

Loving God supremely and our neighbors as ourselves.

Investing our time, talents and treasures in the ministries of Central Baptist Church.

Finding and restoring missing church members; finding and reaching the lost.

Equipping the members of Central Baptist Church to carry out the great commission
