In response to Christ's commandment to love one another and to go out into the whole world to preach and teach the Good News of God's salvation, it shall be the mission of Central Christian Church to win people to faith in Jesus Christ, to commit them actively to the church, and to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ that increasingly they may know and do His will.

To fulfill this mission Central Christian Church will work to recognize and respond to the hurts and hopes of individuals and to meet their needs in a competent, compassionate, committed, courageous, and concrete manner.
For Jesus said, "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me, and when you do this to one of the least of these, you do it to me." (Mathew 25:35-36, 40)
