The mission of Central Intermediate, a school serving a community of fifth and sixth grade students with diverse needs, abilities, and backgrounds, is to ensure that every student has the academic, self-management and interpersonal skills to successfully transition into a middle school as an independent learner.

We accomplish this by creating a safe and supportive environment and by providing effective instruction by a competent and caring staff in collaboration with students, family and community.
