Chester Heights Fire Company
About Us
The Chester Heights Fire Company was founded in 1947 to serve the Borough of Chester Heights and its surrounding communities. Through out its history the company has had many first in the State of Pennsylvania, and in Delaware County. The Company was one of the first to offer QRS services, one of the first to carry and AED, it is the first company in Pennsylvania to have a state certified Rescue and the first in Delaware County to Offer a certified dive team. Recently many of the members of Chester Heights went through the process of becoming certified firefighters. Today the Company is led into action by Chief Larry Ward who has served the department for over 25 years. Today we Respond with approximately 15 volunteers and 4 pieces of apparatus. If you are interested in joining the company monthly meetings are held on the Third Monday of every month at 8:00 p.m. at the fire house, the first Thursday of the month is company work nights and the second Thursday is Company drill night.
