About Us:
We actively farm 50 acres. Over the past 24 years, we have rotated crops, used compost, and have grown cover crops in the winter. Because of this, our soil is very healthy and well cared for.
We grow all of our own plants, from seed, in greenhouses on the farm. We start this process in February. The young transplants are then planted outside in mid-April.
Our goal is to provide high quality vegetables at a reasonable price. Post-harvest handling is an important factor that ensures top quality and freshness.
Our CSA supplies local consumers with Jersey fresh produce. When you purchase a share you are supporting open space. All farmland we farm is permanently preserved under the New Jersey Farmland Preservation program. In addition, we are very easily accessible, located in Chesterfield, a small farming community in Northern Burlington County, New Jersey.
Any fungicide or pesticide that is used to treat our plants is listed as organic under the Organic Review Materials Institute (OMRI).
