About the Church:
Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church is a small family community of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod located in Gordonville, Missouri.
Established in 1899, Christ congregation preaches and teaches that Christ Jesus was crucified and raised for the salvation of all men. Our members strive to show the love of Christ and to take the message of His salvation to all the world. "Christ" is more than the name on our church. Christ is our Savior, our life, and our Lord!
Christ Ev. Lutheran Church also works with St. Paul Lutheran School in Jackson and Trinity Lutheran School in Cape to provide our members with the opportunity to experience a Lutheran elementary education. We also partner with Saxony Lutheran High School in Cape Girardeau.
