Circle Center Grade School is for students in Early Childhood through 3rd grade. The organization of our school is self contained for our Living Skills, Early Childhood, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students. Children in our Diagnostic classroom move between their grade level room and the Diagnostic room. All students in 1st – 3rd grade are offered physical education, music, art, library skills, and technology in addition to Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Our Kindergarten children do not have an Art class. Circle Center Grade School student population came from both Bristol Grade School and Yorkville Grade School. Our student population for the 2005-2006 school year will be around 620 students. All staff members at CCGS utilizes various teaching techniques to meet the needs of all students. Character Counts and the FISH philosophy are practiced daily in our building. Parents have the opportunity of participating in a positive active PTO and school volunteer program. Everyone at Circle Center Grade School has an open door and welcomes parents to volunteer in the classroom. We address our school as a family that takes care of each other.
