Mission:
The Economic Development efforts of the City are designed to ultimately create wealth for the citizens of the City. This personal wealth allows the total economy to thrive through disposable income and capital investment in business. This also
provides revenues for local government to provide services and programs reflected by the desires of the community. The community and elected officials ultimately define the goals and objectives of local government.

Vision:
This Strategy should be revisited annually in the fall following the City Council Vision Update. The Vision provides the overarching view of the desired future for the City. The Strategy should be closely aligned with that document.
