Clinton Lower Elementary School's health center began in 2007 in a small temporary building. In 2008, a new modular building with offices and 3 exam rooms was purchased and moved onto the school campus. The school health center serves 518 students, their families, staff, and the entire community during school hours. The site currently supports a full-time school nurse and receptionist, and RKM's dentist and a nurse practitioner also make rounds weekly. The school nurse provides vaccinations, Kidmed services, and first aid as well as dispensing prescription medications. Other medical needs are referred to RKM Clinic by appointment or on an emergency basis. Transportation between the school clinic and RKM is available during school hours.
