Clovis MainStreet is a 501(c)3 organization that is guided by volunteer Board of Directors compromised of representatives of the downtown business community. City goverment and community leaders. It'swork is carried out though four standing committees made up of volunteers, who are assigned by a paid Executive Director. Clovis MainSteet is supported by the City of Clovis, Curry County, private donations and grant funding.

Clovis MainStreet is a member of New Mexico MainStreet which is part of the NM Economic Development Department. NM Mainstreet is te state division of the National Main Street Center in Washing ton, D.C. sponsored by the National Trust of Historic Preservation.
