History :

The Coldwater Free Methodist Church has been serving the greater Branch County area since its inception in 1866. We have been at our present location since 1960.

We are a church family made up of persons from various walks of life, seeking to learn about and grow in, the Christian faith. We enjoy fellowship and encouragement that results from friendships developed with one another. We seek to introduce people to a serving faith in Jesus Christ, help them to grow in that faith, and provide a means of fellowship and service to God, our church, and community. We endeavor to identify and help meet the felt needs of people in our community, and around the world.

We are part of a larger family called the Free Methodist Church of North America . We have over 1,500 churches, six colleges, and many missionaries, staffing hospitals, schools, and mission stations around the world. Our social service agencies serve the needs of children, youth, unwed mothers, the socially deprived, and senior citizens.
