CARES is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development, delivery and coordination of high quality programs and services which are responsive to the needs of adults and older persons residing in West Central Florida. We strive to meet the social, health, educational, recreational, and support needs of persons without regard to race, color, gender, age, religion, handicap, or national ethnic origin.

CARES has provided a variety of programs and services throughout Pasco County, Florida since 1973. Our agency is funded through federal and state grants, United Way of Pasco County, and private donations. CARES has achieved the distinct title of lead agency for aging and retirement services in Pasco County.
