The CHC Mission:
To provide quality health care in an atmosphere of dignity and caring.
About:
Founded in 1992, the Community Health Clinic (CHC) provides basic medical care to the working poor and uninsured citizens of Licking County.
Believing that all citizens have a right to access medical services, our mission is to provide quality health care in an atmosphere of dignity and caring.
Under the guidance of Patrick Scarpitti, our volunteer medical staff work in partnership with local businesses, community organizations, churches, and concerned citizens to help meet the needs of the underserved members of our community.
The Clinic sees an average of 1,000 medical visits per year. The patients are asked to make a $5 donation for medical services; however, no one is turned away for inability to pay. A typical visit includes evaluation by a volunteer physician and medication. The Clinic distributes approx $100,000.00 in medication yearly.
