Residents of the community are within 30 minutes of the cultural and sporting events offered by Indianapolis and about 8 miles from Greenfield, Indiana, the county seat of Hancock County. Major highways into the Indianapolis metropolitan area include U.S. 52 from the southeast and U.S. 40 (Washington Street) from the east and to a lesser extent, I-74 from the southeast and I-70 from the east.
