About
We hope you get the opportunity to explore the secrets of the prairie, where you might find frogs and ducks or antelope and mule deer. You might discover a prickly pear cactus blooming or actually stand in waist-high amber waves of grain.
We hope you feel the majestic enormity of our mountains nearby and take a moment to imagine what Lewis and Clark thought about as they faced crossing those very mountains in the late summer of 1805.
We encourage you to visit some of our shops in town. Conrad merchants offer everything you might need – from the largest crafting store in north-central Montana to off-road recreation vehicles. Partake in a round of golf with a view of the mountains.
We will happily feed you at one of our many restaurants. Our grocery store meets or beats prices and offers the best-quality of any store in the area. A quick snack can be had at one of our convenience stores. Be sure to stop and enjoy a soda or ice cream at our old fashioned soda bar or visit our unique coffee shops.
Nestled among the tree-lined streets of our town is a beehive of activity. For a glimpse into life on a homestead or how underground missiles were once directed from our area to the USSR, visit the Transportation Museum or the Conrad Depot. Kids delight in playing on fantastic playgrounds in our parks. And don’t forget to check out the latest event at the library or Orpheum Theater. You won’t be sorry.
You will hit the jackpot on the first weekend in June. The Whoop-Up Rodeo and parade absolutely can’t be beat. Don’t miss it!
The list goes on and on. In fact, check out our Chamber of Commerce membership page to find what you need.
And if you have a question, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re glad you’re here!
